We are looking for a skilled and creative full stack .NET developer that can work well with a distributed team. This position combines the business analyst and quality assurance roles required for data warehouse and software development. You will work in partnership with the project technical lead to help gather and document requirements and ensure coordination with the development team. As new source systems or business rules are identified, you will work with subject matter experts and write the business specifications for these components. You will work closely with the development team to make sure that business specifications are being implemented as per the documentation. There may be some travel to Addis Ababa, Ethiopia.

You will be responsible for building scalable, full stack applications and modulated components. The candidate must have experience designing software architecture in a .NET platform in conjunction with a relational SQL database back end.

We are seeking a talented and experienced Data Modeler and ETL Developer to join our team. You will be contributing to the design, development, and maintenance of our data warehouse and reporting solutions. In this role, you will collaborate with subject matter experts to understand business processes and reporting requirements, and then architect and implement efficient data integration flows. You will be responsible for developing data warehouse models, creating lineage documentation, and designing ETL/ELT scripts for data extraction, transformation, and loading. Additionally, you will optimize software development processes, identify and resolve defects and performance bottlenecks, and provide support for ETL/ELT issues.

Project Balance’s CommCare practice continues to grow. Using CommCare’s web application building blocks, we build robust data capture solutions. These solutions also include adjunct data management features such as python applications for loading look up tables into CommCare and ETL and data relational database features for comprehensive data cleaning, reporting and dashboard display outside of CommCare-HQ. Your role will focus primarily on the development and deployment of CommCare data entry solutions and the development of data management and reporting supporting systems.
